Sept 1993 article on WWW - "try it"

This September 1993 article that appeared in Tagung Deutsches ForschungsNetz advertising the WWW project states the  info.cern.ch IP address as being (at that time): 

128.141.201.74

Describes how to access the line-mode browser via telnet: "don't be disappointed..."

I wrote this telnet hack back in 1991: it logged users stealthily into a dedicated account on the server, and launched the line-mode browser to display content interactively. The goal was for people anywhere on the Internet to discover the web without first installing web software. Bootstrapping. Then you could learn how to install a browser, publish pages or even write a gateway to an existing database.

If CERN still has control over this IP address, we could certainly re-install the telnet feature for command-line fans ;-)
