In my last blog post I communicated our intention to host dev days at CERN to bring the line-mode browser experience back to life.
I'm delighted to announce that Jeremy Keith accepted our invitation to facilitate the event. Jeremy, Mark Boulton - design lead on this project - and I had the tough task of choosing a small group with the necessary mix of skills to produce something really special over just two days of hacking. We asked the following people to take part:
- John Allsopp
- Kimberly Blessing
- Martin Akolo Chiteri
- Brian Leroux
- Eric Meyer
- Craig Mod
- Angela Ricci
- Remy Sharp
- Brian Suda
- Lea Verou
Huge thanks to everyone who applied to take part and volunteered their valuable time. We had a large number of high-quality applications: I'm sorry we couldn't have everyone along.
It's been two months since we last communicated what was happening on this project. Behind the scenes we are working on a number of things, including a repository for all the resources that we are gathering related to the birth of the web - more on this soon.
